The unofficial numbers are in and they prove it was another "twin-tastic" year at the Twins Days Festival.

Sandy Miller, festival office manager, said the unofficial number of registered twins and multiples was 2,090 this year, compared to 1,736 sets in 2011.

"The festival was a great success," Miller said in an email to Patch. She was glad to see such beautiful weather (despite a shower or two on Sunday) and high numbers.

While still unofficial, this year's attendance is the highest since 2003, when 2,756 sets registered.

The highest attendance number was in 1995 when 2,798 sets registered.

The lowest attendance was at 36 in 1976. That was also the festival's first year.

Twins Days grand total of registered multiples (including 2012) is 66,258 sets.
