The good news for Akron Water customers in the city and township is that the water mains are back online.
The bad news is the boil alert is still in effect, for now at least.
Stephanie York, a spokesperson for the City of Akron, said as of Tuesday night, all the systems had been restored.
However, affected residents should still boil their water until they are notified.
"We will cetainly alert everyone when the boil alert will be lifted," York said.
Only 10 homes in the city and township were affected by Tuesday's water main break; a far cry from the 1,000 homes in the northern part of Hudson.
