Boy's Bike Stolen, Dad Finds Kid Who Took It
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.
One Twinsburg father cracked the case of his son's stolen bike.
A Belleau resident told police on Sept. 6 that his bike was stolen from the Twinsburg Fitness Center, but there were no leads on who may have taken it.
That was until dad was on the case.
The next day the boy's father saw a Twinsburg Township juvenile riding his son's Schwin BMX bike behind R.B. Chamberlin Middle School.
Police found the boy riding the bike near the football stadium.
The boy was arrested and taken into the station where he was picked up by his aunt.
Police forwarded receiving stolen property charges (first-degree misdemeanor) to the Summit County Juvenile Court.
The bike was given back to the dad and his son.
