Twinsburg's Christ Community Fellowship Church is giving resident's who are less fortunate something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

The church is hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner for the community on Thursday, Nov. 24 at 1 p.m. at it's 10900 Ravenna Rd. location.

The RSVP deadline for the dinner is this Saturday, Nov. 19. For more information call the church at 330-603-6544 or email Aten at jaten@windstream.net.

Christ Community Fellowship, headed by new pastor Jeff Aten, is opening its doors to the community to "reach out to those individuals or families in our community, who can not afford the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings," Aten said in a press release. The church is also inviting those who may be dining alone on Thanksgiving.

Residents will also have the chance to give to those in need this holiday. Christ Community Fellowship is encouraging people to help by donating the following items:

• Turkeys
• Cans of turkey gravy
• Boxes of stuffing
• Bags of Idaho potatoes
• Cans of sweet potatoes
• Cans of yellow corn
• Cans of green beans
• Cans of greens (also will take assorted fresh greens)
• Cans of whole-berry cranberries
• Dinner rolls
• Tubs of butter
• Pumpkin pies or assorted desserts
• Whipped topping
