Cleveland Woman Busted for Six License Suspensions, Drugs: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department

 

One license suspension is bad enough. But six?

On June 3 Twinsburg police pulled over a woman in a Lexus behind the GetGo on Hadden Road.

Officers were told the car smelled like marijuana and the driver looked like she was under the influence.

Police identified Chantrice Hill, 25, of Cleveland, as the driver. According to police, Hill had six open suspensions on her driving record.

During a search cops found raw marijuana and marijuana cigarettes in the car's ash tray.

She was arrested and charged with driving under suspension and drug possession.

Slumber party of theft party?

On May 31 a Hanford Lane woman called police saying someone stole an iPod Touch and $37 from her home.

She did tell officers that her son had a few friends over the night before for a sleepover.

What's good for the "Gander" can get you arrested

An employee of Gander Mountain on Creekside Drive called police on June 2, after a marijuana pipe was found inside the store.

When officers got to the store they spoke to a group outside, eventually arresting two men, charging them with carrying concealed weapons (a knife) and drug possession.

A juvenile was also arrested for drug and paraphernalia possession.

Drunken driving arrest

Police a arrested a 25-year-old Macedonia man on June 3 for drunken driving after he was pulled over for weaving on Shephard and Ravenna Roads.

The man was released on a $500 bond and given a court date.
