Cops Bust House Party For Underage Drinking
A 21-year-old Twinsburg resident was charged for giving beer to underage persons
A neighbor's noise complaint led to Twinsburg police busting up a party with underage drinking on June 12.
Around 3 a.m. a Chamberlin Road man called police because he could hear yelling and breaking glass from a few houses down.
When police arrived they saw people running into the house from a garage.
Officers rounded up everyone in the house to figure out what was going on.
The 48-year-old owner of the house said she was upstairs sleeping and didn't know there was underage drinking, including a few minors, going on downstairs.
She said she thought her son, who had just turned 21, was having a few friends over.
The son admitted to officers, according to the report, that he did give beer to underage persons. He was arrested and charged with providing alcohol for underage consumption and to minors.
Six people were cited for underage drinking, including two minors.
The mother said she would take the keys of all those over 18 and they could stay the night at the house. The two minors were released to their parents.
