Cops Bust Three Drunken Drivers in One Day: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

 

On May 6 a Twinsburg police officer saw a car weaving on Darrow Road and almost hit a sign when it turned onto Darrow Park Drive.

During the traffic stop the officer smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic coming from the car. The driver said he was drinking and failed a series of sobriety tests.

The driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving and weaving.

You drink, you drive, you lose

Police stopped a car on May 6 for speeding on S.R. 82.

The driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving, speeding, and having an open container of alcohol in a car.

The car wasn't the only thing "rolling"

Police stopped another car for speeding on Darrow Road at the train tracks on May 6.

After searching the car, police found the driver and two passengers had open bottles of Rolling Rock beer inside the car.

One of the passengers was found with marijuana and cited for drug possession.
