Cops Find Drugs; Burglary Reported: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

If you get caught smelling like marijuana, blame your boyfriend.

On Nov. 12 Twinsburg police stopped a car on I-480 for speeding. During the stop officers could smell marijuana coming from inside.

The driver, a Cleveland woman, said her boyfriend borrowed the car the night before.

When cops did a search, a marijuana blunt was found in the woman's purse, which she said she picked up off the floor before she was pulled over.

She was cited for marijuana possession, a minor misdemeanor.

A burglary

On Nov. 14 police were called to a burglary at the 9800 block of Shepard Road shortly after 11 p.m.

The resident said someone entered his apartment garage and stole several items.

Neither the items or the value were listed in the report.
