Drunken Driver Leaves Crash Scene: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

 

Twinsburg police stopped a woman at the 2500 block of East Aurora Road on Aug. 3 for weaving.

During the stop officers heard the driver was involved in a hit-skip accident in the Comfort Inn parking lot and left the scene.

After failing field sobriety tests the woman was arrested for drunken driving. Her blood-alcohol level was .091, above the legal limit.

She was also charged with weaving and leaving the scene of a crash.

A man dining at Panini's on Aug. 3 told police his motorcyle was stolen from the restaurant parking lot.

Twins Days Wallet Found

Some person in Michigan is missing their wallet.

On Aug. 5 a resident went to police after finding a wallet in the Christ The King Lutheran Church parking lot.

Based on the items in the wallet, police said the owner was from Michigan, likely attending Twins Days.

Officers made attempts to contact the owner, which failed, and were unable to find their names at any Twinsburg hotels.
