Election Day 2011: What You Need to Know
We have the issues and polling locations for the city of Twinsburg
At 6:30 a.m. today polls will be opening throughout the area as the May primary elections get under way.
For the city, there is only one selection on the ballot with Issue 20.
Voters will be asked to approve a rezoning of the property at the northeast corner of Darrow and Highland roads, from industrial to public facility. If approved, HCR ManorCare Health Services LLC will construct a 63,000-square-foot, 120-bed nursing home and will bring 140 jobs to the city, said Twinsburg Planning and Development Director Larry Finch in an interview last week.
