Enlarged Heart May Have Factored in Lilly Death

The Summit County Medical Examiner's office said Jason Lilly, 17, had an enlarged heart that may have caused his death

An enlarged heart may have been the cause of death of 17-year-old Jason Lilly, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner.

Gary Guenther, a spokesperson with the examiner's office, said the autopsy uncovered that Lilly had an enlarged heart, but the office is still waiting on tests to determine the official cause of death, which may take several weeks.

Lilly died in the early morning on Jan. 26.

At a vigil for Lilly on Friday night, his father told a crowd about his son's enlarged heart to quiet all the rumors going around about how his son died.
