Ex Steals Woman's Car While She Showers: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

 

One Ravenna Road woman got a bad surprise after stepping out of the shower.

On Aug. 22 a woman told Twinsburg police that her ex-boyfriend had stolen her car, her purse and $350 cash while she was bathing.

Police entered the car as stolen.

Keep the crack pipes at home, please

On Aug. 22 police pulled over a car on I-480 near State Route 91 for speeding. 

Not only did the driver have a warrant from Rocky River on drug charges, his passenger was found with syringes, a spoon and two crack pipes. 

He was wanted in Pennsylvania on burglary charges. 

Senseless vandalism

A Ravenna Road woman called police on Aug. 24 after someone damaged her car while it was parked at her apartment complex.

Damage was estimated at $1,500.

Random registration checks lead to arrests

There were two instances on Aug. 25 where police checked car registrations and found violations on the owners.

The first was at Hadden Road and Ray Court, where the driver had a warrant from Brooklyn, OH. The woman was arrested and transferred.

The second was during a random registration check on a car to find a felony warrant from the Medina County Sheriff's Office.

Police pulled the car over and arrested the driver, turning them over to the sheriff's office.
