Katherine Procop
Katherine Procop, 61, Republican, Mayoral Candidate (unopposed). "I have been honored to serve the great community and residents of the City of Twinsburg. Having served as Mayor since 1999 uniquely qualifies me for this position. I have managed a work force of over 160 employees as well as a multi-million dollar budget for over twelve years. The City has prospered through economic development initiatives, green space has increased from 600 acres to over 2000 acres, and city revenue has been leveraged to secure millions of dollars in grants used for land purchases, safety, roadway & infrastructure improvements as well as energy saving projects."

Bill Furey, 50, Republican, Council-At-Large Candidate (unopposed). "I bring a strong work ethic, business experience and tested leadership for the Residents of the City of Twinsburg. I have been elected twice to the Council at Large position with the additional experience of seven years working on various City Boards. I have been a strong proponent of controlling City spending and lowering our debt so we can reduce the City income tax in the near future back to 2 percent."
Bob McDermott, 70, Democrat, Ward 2 City Council Candidate. "The dynamics affecting our community today have compelled me to take an active role in helping shape our community for present and future generations. I am committed to making Twinsburg the 'community of choice' for families, as well as business and other organizations."
Steve Murphy, 64, Republican, Ward 3 City Council Candidate. "Having been elected twice to city council, I bring experience and ideas. The biggest issue for my ward is jobs. I would remove the extra income tax immediately, thereby encouraging businesses to locate in Twinsburg. We need to provide the services our residents have become accustomed to: senior center, parks with plenty of activities for everyone, a top notch service department, and the finest police and fire protection."
Sam Scaffide, 56, Democrat, Ward 1 City Council Candidate (unopposed). "For the past eight years my attitude has remained extremely positive, even during the toughest times. My goal will always be to protect the best interests of our residents and do what is best for our City. I have remained a proponent of a strong economic development commitment, in order to keep our community solvent while continuing to provide our residents with the best possible services available."
