A local karate studio will hold a fundraiser March 20 to raise money for the childen of Tami Wong.
Wong died in a domestic incident in February. Her husband, Glenn Wong, has been charged with aggravated murder.
The couple had two children, a 10-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son.
Twinsburg Karate Institute, located at 9224 Darrow Road, is holding a fundraiser for the children during its women self-defense class on March 20 from 7:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
If you plan to attend the class and donate, please RSVP to the karate studio by calling 330-963-3069.
All the money collected will be donated to the family fund, said Sensei Reggie Brown, the owner of the institute.
"We hope people will find it in their hearts for these poor kids," Brown said.
Twinsburg Patch is trying to find out information on where residents can donate to the fund if they don't plan to attend the class, so stay tuned for that information.
