LOOK: Relay For Life Shines Through Dreary Weather
Survivors and teams kicked off the annual event to celebrate fundraising for cancer research Friday night
Friday night began the 12th annual Relay for Life Twinsburg-Nordonia at Twinsburg Tigers Stadium behind R.B. Chamberlin Middle School.
While the weather wasn't the prettiest, the teams and survivors made it another great evening that included recognizing cancer survivors, live music, along with plenty of fun and games.
More than two dozen teams of local residents, businesses and organizations that have raised money in anticipation of the event camped out at Tiger Stadium.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser of the American Cancer Society (ACS). The ACS has invested over $3 billion in cancer research since 1946.
