Man Faces Assault Charge in Panini's Bathroom Brawl

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

A Willowick man faces an assault charge and another man suffered minor injuries after skirmish in the Panini's bathroom on June 10.

Richard Moss, 46, was charged with assault, a first-degree misdemeanor, for his role in the early morning tussle.

Moss told police he and his nephew were in the restroom with the victim. His nephew followed the man out and said something to him.

According to Moss, the victim then clenched his fists and got in his nephew's face, when Moss elbowed the man in the face. He admitted the other man had not thrown any punches at either Moss or his nephew.

The victim told police he never confronted either of the men, but that after he was hit, Moss was on top of him, ripping his own shirt off and talking about his tattoos.

The police report indicated there was a "small amount of blood just under the victim's nose."
