Man Hid 13 Grams of Cocaine in His Car

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On May 5 Twinsburg police arrested a man for minor drug possession and an outstanding warrant. But it's what they found after his arrest that really landed him in hot water.

Police charged King Todd with drug trafficking, a third-degree felony, after officers found 13 grams of cocaine in his car.

Todd was pulled over by police after making a left turn on to Twin Hills Parkway from the right lane on S.R. 82.

According to the report, the officer immediately noticed the smell of marijuana, which Todd admitted to buying earlier that evening. He had a small bag of marijuana buds sitting in the center console.

Officers also found a warrant out for Todd's arrest from Maple Heights on domestic violence charges.

After Todd was taken to the station, police went through his car before it was towed and found three baggies of cocaine hidden in the sun visor. The baggies in total contained 13 grams of cocaine, including crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and a piece of compressed cocaine.
