The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
One man was charged with drug possession and obstruction and a minor was charged with unruly juvenile after a traffic stop on Oct. 25.
Richard Allen, 18, of Twinsburg, was charged after police found him with marijuana on him during a personal search.
Allen denied having any drugs on him after he was asked by officers several times, according to the police report.
He still denied any possession after being warned he would be charged with obstruction if he was lying.
That's when police found marijuana on him during a pat down. He was arrested and charged.
Another juvenile was sitting in the backseat during the traffic stop.
He denied that any marijuana found in the car was his but because of his age, police transported him back to his Warrensville Parkway home.
While police were speaking to his mother, the boy was yelling at officers, "becoming argumentative" and accusing them of arresting him because of his race.
He was arrested on charges of unruly juvenile for not listening to his mother and disrespecting the officer, according to police.
