Meth Lab Busted at Twinsburg Inn

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

The Twinsburg Police Department raided what it believes to be a meth lab in Twinsburg on Sunday.

The manager of the Twinsburg Inn on Ravenna Road called police on Oct. 7 around 11 p.m. to report a funny smell and smoke coming from one of the rooms.

She said she confronted the tenants about the smoke when she realized the items in the room were being used to make methamphetamine.

When she told the three people in the room she was calling the police, they all got in a car and drove away.

According to police, when officers arrived they found tools and ingredients for making meth including:

  • a bottle of drain cleaner
  • a 20 ounce soda bottle with tubes coming out with a smoking, brown substance inside
  • plastic tubing
  • coffee filters
  • and a measuring cup.

Officers located the car the tenant left in on Cannon Road and arrested Emileigh Scripa, 32, of Solon.

While searching the car police found iodized salt, coffee filters and a digital scale, linking her to the items in the hotel, according to police.

Scripa was charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs, tampering with evidence, and possession of criminal tools, all felonies.

Narcotics agents think the lab was used to make methamphetamine via the shake-and-bake or one-pot method, which involves combining the ingredients in a single sealed container and shaking it to increase the pressure.

This girl was somebody that I used to know... Just 2 years ago, she was a pretty, healthy, happy girl that was engaged and talking about having a baby. Then, one day she kinda just... Disappeared. She became reclusive, defensive, angry and mean right before she went. guess I know why, now. She never really had her shit straight but this is kind of a shock. Hopefully prison straightens her out.

This is very sad indeed. Meth will change who you are inside and out very quickly. I pray that anyone who knows Emileigh reaches out to her and tries to get her help. She needs someone to spearhead her recovery, someone to let her know that they care about her. I have seen this same pattern time and time again and I know that this is her last chance at recovery. Her point of no return is the day she gets out of jail....someone please be there for her!

That is probably one of the worst mug shots I have seen, but the picker in her was active, you can tell by the scarring on her face, the mascara has run from the tears of knowing she is going to jail. I liked meth for years, you have to control that demon or it I will control you. I guess I know this woman, but I was waisted, and don't remember. Good luck lady, and stop picking.

I know this girl for sure! She used to be extremely hot! Meth is the absolute worst! She's always been on something... Coke, weed, pills, heroin, etc. But, look what happens once you get on that ice. In less than a year and a half she went from being a normal cute girl to looking like 400 miles of bad road. The people I really feel bad for are her parents. They're both really nice people and didn't deserve this from Emileigh. Wow! Just say no to drugs kids!
