Out-of-Town Woman Reports Laptop Stolen: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Every person's fear is that they will be robbed when they go out of town.

Twinsburg police got a call on July 15 from a Presidential Parkway woman that someone stole her laptop and other things.

She told police she had been out of town for 10 days and the Toshiba M300 laptop was on a desk in her living room.

She returned that day and the computer was gone.

She also said her daughter was missing a jewelry box with $5 in change inside.

Nothing else appeared to be missing from the home.

Turn down that bass, please

Officers pulled over a car on July 14 because its music was loud and the driver was weaving.

The driver refused a breathalyzer test and was arrested for drunken driving.

Excuse me, what is that white powder?

During a traffic stop on July 15 on I-480 at State Route 82, police found a plastic straw with "white powder residue" in the woman's purse.

She was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The passenger was also cited for having an open bottle of whisky and a metal smoking pipe with marijuana residue.
