Police Catch Man Wanted for Menacing

A man reported for menacing in Reminderville and Twinsburg was arrested Tuesday afternoon

 

A man wanted by Twinsburg police for menacing was arrested in Reminderville Tuesday.

Michael Simon, 27, was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor, according to Police Chief Christopher Noga

Simon was wanted after several calls reported someone harassing residents of Twinsburg and Reminderville.

Reminderville police recognized Simon's picture on the Twinsburg Police Department's Facebook page, leading to his arrest.

On Sept. 21 an employee of Chase Bank on East Aurora Road reported that a man, fitting Simon's description, threatened to kill her because she wouldn't let him in the bank.

Simon is in Twinsburg jail on $500 bond and will be arraigned Wednesday morning.
