Police Chief: No Signs of Forced Entry
Twinsburg Police Chief Christopher Noga said the body of the man will be examined today
Despite reports by several news outlets, Twinsburg Police Chief Christopher Noga said there was no evidence of forced entry in the investigation of Sunday’s death at Country Club Circle.
“There were absolutely no signs of or reports of forced entry from our department,” Noga said. “I don’t know where that came from.”
One news outlet also reported the wife of the 36-year-old man talked to her husband that morning. This was also refuted by Noga.
“That didn’t happen,” Noga said.
Police were called to the home around 11:46 a.m. after the man’s wife and 6-year-old son found his body in the bathroom. Noga said the two had stayed at a friend’s house the night before.
The body is being examined today to determine the cause of death. Noga said they should have the report by the end of today or Tuesday.
