Police Find Traces of Heroin During Traffic Stop: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Twinsburg police stopped a car on Darrow Road at Walgreens on Thanksgiving Day for a lane violation.

During the stop the driver of the car was arrested for driving under suspension and the passenger was arrested on a warrant.

Officers conducted a K9 sniff of the car which uncovered a compact mirror and metal rod with heroin residue and suphedrine medications, according to police.

The passenger was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drinking leads to a dispute

The man was transported to a hotel for the night.

Drunken driving
