Police Make Drunken Driving, Drug Arrests: The Blotter

On Nov. 7 police stopped a car for speeding on State Route 82.
During the stop the driver was arrested for drug abuse and driving under suspension. He was released on $500 bail.
The passenger was also cited for drug abuse and released.
On Nov. 8 police were told that a driver was swerving all around the road.
Officers found the car near Ravenna and Cannon Roads, eventually stopping it near Church Street.
The woman, from Illinois, had a strong smell of alcohol on her breath while talking to police, according to the report.
She failed the field sobriety tests and was arrested for drunken driving and open container. She was released on $500 bond.
