A Mantua man was charged with disorderly conduct after making an obscene gesture toward a mother and daughter.
On Oct. 24 police were called by a woman in the Giant Eagle parking lot. The woman said a man was driving his truck up and down the aisles of the lot and made an "obvious obscene gesture" at her daughter.
She said the man was staring at her and "licking his lips" as he drove by.
Police found the man's truck with an open can of beer inside, but he was not there.
They found Steven Negrich, 21, "staggering" around in the aisles, apparently intoxicated, police said.
He denied making any gestures toward the girl but said he did have a beer before. After performing tests, police determined he was drunk.
He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and intoxication.
During the booking process one of the pharmacists from the store reported that while she was using the ladies room, he walked in on her and stood there smiling before leaving.
