Police: Man Too Drunk to Pick Up His Motorcycle

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

One man should be thankful he didn't hurt himself or anyone else after trying to drive his motorcycle while drunk, police reported.

On Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, Twinsburg police officers were called to SR 91 and Twinsburg Square because a man was struggling to pick up his motorcycle and get on.

Police found the man at the intersection of SR 91 and Ravenna Road, where they thought he was drunk.

He failed the field sobriety tests and blew a .215 on the breathalyzer test, more than twice the legal limit, and was charged with drunken driving.

He was released to a family member on $500 bond.
