Police: Twinsburg Couple Runs From Cops, Charged With Possession

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Nov. 8 Twinsburg police pulled behind a car located in the driveway of 9700 block of E. Idlewood Dr. when a girl and her boyfriend jumped out of the car and ran from police.

Terrance Rutkai, 19, of Twinsburg, took off between houses before officers were out of the car. Police began searching in the woods for him but weren't able to locate Rutkai.

Several hours later he turned himself over to police when they searched for him at the home where he originally ran from officers.

According to police, he handed over several items including syringes, rolling papers and a beer can used to smoke heroin.

Rutkai was charged with obstruction of justice and possession of drug abuse instruments/paraphernalia.

Kaitlyn Rosselot, 19, wrestled herself away from police and tried running into the woods along the house.

She got stuck and was caught by officers. When they asked if she had anything hidden on her, she revealed two heroin syringes in her possession, according to the police report.

Rosselot was charged with obstructing justice, resisting arrest and possession of drug instruments/paraphernalia.
