Presidential Candidates: Who Gets Your Vote? (POLL)
Take our poll and tell us who gets your presidential vote.
As you may have heard, it's Election Day, and you're going to be asked to vote for a presidential candidate.
Now we won't ask you to leave your name, but we do want to know who you voted/will vote for. If you're feeling daring, tell us why you voted that way — you may persuade someone to change their vote!
Take our poll below, and if you don't see your candidate, tell us who it is in the comments.
Happy voting!

At the 20-vote mark, it appears there are 6 votes for the ICP's ( Insane Clown Posse ) -- Gingrich (1), Santorum ( 1 ) and Paul ( 4 ). Seriously ? Gingrich and Santorum voters in the Heights ?

Hi Jake,
This poll has been shared with almost all of our 17 Northeast Ohio Patches. So these results aren't just in Cleveland Heights. Thanks for voting!

Personally speaking, none of the major candidates--Republican or Democrat (and yes, I'm including Mr. Obama in that)--are even close to what I would consider 'presidential quality', though I hope Mr. Obama (and keep in mind that I'm speaking as a registered Democrat myself and I didn't vote for him back in 2008 because I didn't think he was the right person for the job then and I still don't) isn't re-elected in November.

I'm curious, Lonnie, what do you consider to be "presidential quality" in a candidate? And what attributes must one possess to be "the right person for the job"?

The Constitution of the United States Article 2 section1 reads "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Nowhere in the oath of office does it state "So help me god" Futhermore NOWHERE in the Constitution is god, suprme being or lord used, except in the date with the phrase "in the year of the lord", which was common for both religious and secular use in that era. You want to be an armchair Constitutionalist ,try READING it sometime!
