'Rock the Park' Ready To Roll the 'Burg
'Rock the Park' kicks off Friday night at Glen Chamberlin Park with Cleveland's Breakfast Club
Twinsburg, it's time to Rock the Park!
In its fifth year at the Perici Ampitheatre, Rock the Park will feature six Friday-night performances this year from Northeast Ohio cover bands.
The lineup kicks off Friday night with Cleveland's Breakfast Club, the "ultimate 80s tribute band."
Tickets cost $13 at the door, but can be purchased on the website for $10 in advance. Concerts are for people 21 years old or older, as wine and beer will be served during the performances.
In the past, the summer concert series started out with small concerts in Twinsburg square and steadily grew over time. The first official Rock the Park season at Perici Ampitheatre took place five years ago and featured a concert benefiting Twinsburg Police Officer Joshua Miktarian, who was killed in the line of duty.
Friday's lineup includes opening act singer and songwriter James Wailani when doors open at 7 p.m. with Breakfast Club taking the stage at 8 p.m.
Forecast: The National Weather Service predicts great weather but the chance of thunderstorms increases later at night.
