Tami Wong Remembered At Candlelight Vigil
Twinsburg Patch was given permission by the organizers to attend Thursday's candelight vigil held to honor the memory of Tami Wong.
Tami Wong was remembered Thursday night as a warm, giving and loving person who had her life taken from her much too soon.
In honor of her memory, Tami Wong's family, friends and neighbors held a candlelight vigil on Abrams Drive, in the house next door to her home, where she was killed Sunday morning. Her husband, Glenn Wong, is in jail and charged with her murder.
A large crowd came out to pay respects. There was music and singing, and friends spoke emotionally about the friend they lost, and about the children left behind, about how they miss her now, and will see her again some day.
A fund is being set up in Tami Wong's name to help victims of domestic violence. Twinsburg Patch will provide more information that as soon as we have it.
Twinsburg Patch was invited by the organizers to attend the vigil.
If you knew Tami, feel free to leave your memories and condolences in the comments below.

It was wonderful to see family, friends and neighbors come together to honor Tami. I know it helped me through this time to see everyone come together. Now, let's do something to help the children and ensure their well-being.

Tami's children attended teh day care that my son goes to and my hear aches for any person that loses their mom.. In this case, Sophie and Max lost both parents at the same time. I pray for the relatives that are left to raise these angels and definately pray for the them. Just depressing and sad...
