'The Cause' Raises $1,300 for Charity
Saturday's event raised more than $1,000 this year to support Aluminum Cans for Burned Children
Saturday's "The Cause" event at the Twinsburg Public Library brought in $1,300 to support a local charity, according to the library.
Marketing Director Beth Hatch said the event raised the money with the help of 250 people in attendance to donate to Aluminum Cans for Burned Children.
"The Cause" gives local teens an opportunity to showcase their talents -- from singing, dancing and acting -- while raising money and awareness for ACBC.
In it's 13th year, Hatch said there were 26 performances from teens seventh grade and above.
The library also wanted to thank the following for their support: Blue Canyon of Twinsburg, Tim and Peggy Burns, Emery Electric, Inc., Guy and Nancy Gentile, Nick and Susan Grimes, The Holloways, Rickey and Davina Jones, KGK Gardening and Design Corp., Steve and Karen Murphy, Pervanje Architects, LLC., Red's Place, Dick and Mary Lou Sheller, Don and Ann Mary Spice, Starbucks of Twinsburg, Sam and Michelle Taylor, Twinsburg Eye Associates, Inc., and Chick Fil A of Macedonia.
