Trip to Dumpster Ends in Handcuffs: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

 

One Twinsburg woman was taking out the trash and ended up in handcuffs.

On Sept. 17 a Twinsburg police officer was patrolling Darrow Park Drive when he recognized a woman who was standing by a community dumpster.

The woman had an active warrant from Solon police on a traffic offense.

The officer talked to her and arrested her after she admitted to the warrant. She was transferred to Solon.

Fix that tail light

One man's cracked tail light led to a drug bust after police pulled over a Peninsula man on Sept. 17.

During a traffic stop on East Aurora Road and Wilcox Drive an officer smelled burnt marijuana in the car, which the man admitted to.

He was given a court date and released at the scene.

Stolen iPod

On Sept. 19 a parent told police his son's iPod was stolen from the Twinsburg Fitness Center the previous day.
