Twins Days Festival: What You Need to Know

Are you ready? The Twins Days Festival is coming fast and we give you a preview.

Every August twins of all ages, races and types flock to Twinsburg to take part in the Twins Days Festival.

Are you ready? Twinsburg Patch gives you the low-down on what you need to know.

What: The 36th annual Twins Days Festival

The Theme: These twins will be here for the rescue as this year's theme is "Twin Powers," celebrating super heroes of all types.

"Everyone's quite excited," Office Manager Sandy Miller said.

When: The festival starts on Friday, Aug. 3, but is specifically for registered twins and their families. (This does not include the golf scramble on on Friday morning). The fun begins for everyone on Saturday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 5.

Where: Glenn Chamberlin Park and surrounding areas.

The Research: Each year universities and companies from across the nation and the world come to study various aspects of twin genetics and living. This year will feature researchers from Ohio State, West Virginia University, Proctor & Gamble and others.

Where they come from: This event isn't just limited to Ohio multiples. Miller said earlier this month they have twins registered from Australia, England, Italy, Germany, Japan and even a film crew from India.
