Twinsburg Man Loses $7,500 in eBay Fraud: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

 

On Dec. 19 a 50-year-old Twinsburg man came to the Twinsburg Police Department to report that someone bought over $7,500 worth of merchandise on eBay using his BillMeLater account. BillMeLater has investigated the fraud.

Officers were called about an "erratic driver" on Dec. 20 at 12:30 a.m. driving eastbound on I-480. The officers saw the car driving in a "zig-zag pattern" going toward SR 91. The man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and weaving.

On Dec. 21 at 2:20 a.m. Twinsburg officers were checking the area of Shepard Road and Ledge Road for a vehicle that the Sagamore Hills Police Department
was looking for. Officers located the vehicle in the front lawn of a temple. As they approached the car, the driver ran into the wooded area behind the temple. After searching the area, the man was found walking down a street in Macedonia. The
male was arrested and turned over to Sagamore Hills PD.

Twinsburg police were called to a fight that broke out at the Twinsburg Fitness Center on Dec. 21 around noon. After talking to both men in the fight and workers, one man was arrested for disorderly conduct.
