UPDATE: Twinsburg Student Found Dead This Morning

Friends and classmates of 17-year-old Jason Lilly, who was found dead earlier this morning, took to Twitter to remember him and mourn his passing.

UPDATED: 12:30 p.m.

The Summit County Medical Examiner's office confirmed 17-year-old Jason Lilly died overnight, but there didn't appear to be any foul play involved.

"There's no trauma or anything," a spokesperson for the medical examiner's office said. There will be an autopsy later today and toxicology tests will be done. The results may take a few weeks.

is mourning the death of a 17-year-old student last night.

The youth, whose name has not been released, was found by his parents early this morning, said  Chief Richard Racine. He said an EMS team got to the family's Ray Court home around 7 a.m., and that it appeared the young man had passed away during the night.

A spokesman for the Summit County Sheriff's Office said an investigation is under way. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause of death.

Twinsburg Schools Superintendent Kathryn Powers said police told Louise Teringo, the high school prinicipal, what happened this morning.

"We have some very upset high school students and we’re helping them make it through the day," Powers said.
