What Do You Think About FirstEnergy Stadium?

The Cleveland Browns have sold the naming rights to their stadium. What do you think about the new name?

Cleveland Browns Stadium is no more. From now on fans will watch Cleveland football games at FirstEnergy Stadium.

On Tuesday afternoon owner Jimmy Haslem announced that Akron-based FirstEnergy Corporation was awarded the naming rights to the football stadium.

It is the first time in franchise history that the Browns stadium has a corporate name, joining the ranks of other NFL teams who have done the same, according to The Plain Dealer.

They reported that no details of the agreement between the two parties were disclosed.

What do you think of the new stadium name? What would you name it? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

I like how they've been laying off employees since 2009 yet they can afford to buy a stadium???????

New quarterbacks, new ownership, new coaches, new stadium name, and possible new uniforms. Wow! How about some talent? I hope this money will be used to get some good players. Otherwise, we are in the bottom of the barrel again.

Ok, your driving by the stadium. You see the sign, First Energy. Makes me want to run right out and get them to supply electricity to my home. NOT !! WTH??? What is it that I am missing? And yes, they were, (cough), "broke" and laid off 140 people that NEEDED that job. Makes me sick. How about you??
