As a curious child, I was so intrigued by horror movies. I was easily scared, but I always wanted to watch them.

But then I met a man named Michael Myers (a.k.a. "The Shape" for all you John Carpenter fans).

No horror movie phantom gave me the willies like the eerily silent, pale-masked murderer. Halloween is his namesake, of course, so each year around this time I would see his face. 

I was petrified at night because of my wild imagination, picturing him stalking around the corner of the hall, holding a knife, coming to kill me. It made me shudder!

As an adult (I use that term loosely), I love the Halloween movies. Well, the first one mostly. It is by far the creepiest, in my opinion. (Don't even get me started on the Rob Zombie remakes).

But Myers isn't everyone's nightmare.
