Police Find Traces of Heroin During Traffic Stop Twinsburg cops recently pulled over a car for a lane violation, arresting the driver for a suspended license and his passenger for drug paraphernalia possession after the K9 unit found traces of heroin in a makeup compact. 3.

Only Three Precincts Voted Against School Levy After breaking down the election results by precincts, only three of the 16 precincts failed the levy. One of the precincts was a small one in Macedonia. 2. FBI Releases Twinsburg Crime Stats for 2011 The FBI compiled the numbers for violent and property crime data reported by the Twinsburg Police Department last year. Twinsburg School Levy Passes by 1,000 Votes The biggest issue in Twinsburg was the 4.9 mill continuing levy, which was approved by residents, but only by a 980 vote margin. Trick-or-Treat Moved to Sunday: Hurricane Sandy forced city officials to move the time for candy gathering to Sunday from 5-7 p.m. Originally they planned to have it on Wednesday as scheduled, but the weather was too much and the change was made, much to the relief of parents. 2. Hurricane Sandy Leaves Twinsburg Lucky: While some power went out for a while, most Twinsburg residents remained untouched from the powerful storm. He was pulled over for suspected drunken driving and took off with an officer next to his car. He was caught and arrested driving in Twinsburg the next day. 2.
