Peter Rutkoff, professor and chair of American studies at Kenyon College, will discuss American blues and the music of Muddy Waters. Waters took the musical form from the MIssissippi Delta to the clubs of Chicago and redefined the genre. This program is sponsored from a grant from the Ohio Humanities Council.
