Summer is beginning to wind down, but that's no reason to stop enjoying your flavorful summer cocktails. And it's fun to try to duplicate your favorite drink from places like Maggiano's at home.

Here's a list of five refreshing drinks assembled by local mixologist Jaclyn Scullen:

1. Margarita: Fill glass with ice, add 1 ounce tequila, 1/2 ounce orange liqueur, tablespoon lime juice, squeeze in two fresh lime wedges and mix in desired amount of sour mix. Shake well.

2. Mojito: Muddle fresh mint and three lime wedges, add 1/2 ounce of simple syrup, 1 1/2 ounces of rum, fill glass with ice and soda water. Shake well.

3. Peach sparkler: Mix 1 ounce peach vodka and 2 ounces fresh orange juice over ice. Top with sparkling wine.

4. Cherry lime-aid: Fill glass with ice, add 1 1/2 ounces cherry vodka, squeeze in three fresh lime wedges, fill with lemon-lime soda. Shake well.

5. Mint julep: Muddle fresh mint, add 1 1/2 ounces of bourbon, 1/2 ounce simple syrup, add ice, fill with soda water. Shake well.
