Fallen Officer Miktarian's Widow Rides in Police Unity Tour

Holly Miktarian joined thousands of bicycle riders in New Jersey this week to honor fallen police officers.

In her husband's memory, Holly Miktarian participated in a Police Unity Tour Thursday morning where more than 1,000 participants joined her to raise money for the National Law Enforcement Memorial.

The ride began in Morristown, NJ and will end in Washington D.C. at the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial on Sunday.

Harry Phillips, the tour's executive director, said in this NJ.com story that the ride aims to raise $1.7 million. Each participant raised at least $1,000.
