Grab & Go Kids Planner: Spring Break Fun

We've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children.

Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

You're time-pressed enough, so we're happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

Look for the kids’ planner each Monday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips — just add them to the comment box. Even if you disagree with our picks, let us know. We want to hear from you.

Why Go: Has it been your passion to be Kate? These auditions could be your chance. Call ahead for your appointment, and get prepared!

Why Go: Drop in and you can play some of your favorite Wii games with friends.

Why Go: Staff members from the Beck Center for the Arts will engage you and your child in the wonderful world of music! Children ages 2-6 years old will be a part of singing, listening, movement, and instrument playing in this event. Come and sing some old favorites and bop to some new tunes. Registration required, call ahead or register in person, please include the child's name, age and a contact telephone number.

Where/When: Macedonia Family Recreation Center, 1494 E Aurora Rd, Macedonia, OH, Saturday from 7-9 p.m.

Why Go: Get to the Macedonia Rec Center for a pajama party/movie night! Doors open at 7, movie starts at 7:30pm. Get into your favorite jammies and pick out your best blanket for a showing of Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Kids under age 12 require a parent.

Pricing: $8 adults, $6 for children
