Moms Talk Q&A: When to Ask Your Parents How to Parent

They raised us, but how much do should you let them influence raising your children?

"Moms Talk" is a new feature on Twinsburg Patch that is part of a new initiative on our Patch sites to reach out to moms and families.

Twinsburg Patch invites you and your circle of friends to help build a community of support for mothers and their families right here in Twinsburg.

The Parental Conundrum

Our question this week delves into when your parenting style and the way your parents did it come together – or collide.

"When you have your own children, how much (or how little) influence should your parents have over how to raise your kids?"

Some people may be proud of the way their parents brought them up and some may not. But even if you loved how you were raised, should you do the same with your children? Where do you draw the line? Our Moms Council gives their opinion on this issue.

We can't do it without you. We need your questions and topics to make the "Moms Talk" feature the best it can be. The best way to leave us questions is to send us an e-mail at mitch.cooper@patch.com.
