Michael Stanley Returning to 'Rock the Park'
The show's opening act will be revealed Friday.
After a stellar performance and crowd last year, Michael Stanley will be returning to Rock the Park.
Stanley, and his band, The Resonators, will perform at Perici Ampitheatre on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.,
"It was a popular event for us last year," Derek Schroeder, director of parks and recreation said.
People kept asking if Stanley would be coming back, he said, so they tried to answer. At first Stanley couldn't do it at first because of scheduling, but the date opened up and Schroeder jumped on it.
The next big surprise is who will open for the musician. Schroeder said the opening act will be announced Friday, Aug. 23 on the Twinsburg Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
"Anyone who is familiar with Michael Stanley will enjoy this pairing," Schroeder said.
Tickets for the show are on sale now. General admission is $33 before the show and $50 at the door. The Cleveland Clinic VIP tickets are $80.
