Verb Ballets Returns to Twinsburg This Summer

The show will be July 19 at Perici Ampitheatre.

Verb Ballets is set to return to Perici Amphitheatre at Glenn Chamberlin Park Saturday, July 19.

The show begins at 8:30 p.m.

Last year the group performed Night Moves, a cultural collaboration between Twinsburg, Aurora, Hudson, Streetsboro and Solon Center for the Arts.

“Through this collaboration Night Moves has made it possible to bring the highest caliber artistic talent in our region to our residents right in their backyards at an affordable price,” said Derek Schroeder, Twinsburg Parks and Recreation Director.

There will be a pre-show performance from 7-8 p.m. featuring students from local dance studios.

Featured in the program is Carmen: Story of Passion (2012) choreographed by Richard Dickinson (Ohio Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Boston Ballet).

Also, on the program will be previews of Verb Ballets newest ballets choreographed by noted Hollywood choreographer, Daryl Gray and Tommie-Waheed Evans of PHILADANCO!

Adult lawn tickets (ages 16 and up) are $10 and youth lawn tickets (15 and younger) are $5.  Blue Canyon VIP Floor seats are available for $30 and include pre-reception from 6-7 p.m. with wine tasting, appetizers, and event souvenir.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 330.963.8722, online at www.twinsburgrecreation.com or in person at the Twinsburg Community Center at 10260 Ravenna Road Twinsburg, OH  44087.
