Pets of the Week: Hero and Cort

These rescued pets are looking for a new loving family to call their own.

The Humane Society of Greater Akron is spotlighting these animals for adoption from among the many that are available:

Hero

Hero is around 5-6 months old and currently weighs about 30 pounds (but still has some growing to do). He is a fun-loving and happy guy, with the cutest ears around! He gets along well with other dogs. He arrived at the HSGA after being hit by a car. Sadly, the damage to his leg was too severe and we needed to amputate. However, this tripod gets around fanatic and has a happy and upbeat attitude about life! If you would like to be this handsome mans Hero come down and adopt today!

Cort

Cort is around 1.5 years old. He was recently returned to our shelter because the new baby in the home had allergies. While there, he lived with children ages 10 and 12 and another kitty friend. Cort got along great with everyone! He is a real sweetie and enjoys being on your lap. If you think that you could be Cort’s second chance for a forever family, stop down and meet this loving and handsome man today!
