Owner Wants to Target Younger Market with Infinite Wireless

Marvin Smith opened a new mobile phone retail store on Church Street.

Infinite Wireless officially opened its doors for business Tuesday, Sept. 24.

The mobile phone retail store celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting at its 9076 Church St. location.

Owner Marvin Smith said he hopes to provide non-contract phone plans for a much cheaper price.

"People spend $100 for cell phone contracts and we can bring that to you for half the price," Smith said.

His store will also focus on computer repair and video games.

"My primary emphasis is on teenagers in high school who can afford $40 to $50 a month," he said.

Smith originally started in the mobile phone business in the late 90s but left for health reasons. He got into real estate to be more active but when the market went downhill in 2008, he started looking for a new business idea.

"I've been looking at this actual location for three years."

Twinsburg is his first location and he is in talks with Streetsboro for another store. He hopes to have four small locations when he's done.

Smith has lived in Twinsburg Township for the past six years, moving from Bedford.

Infinite Wireless is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will be closed on Sundays.
