Twinsburg Chamber Announces Business Person of the Year

Rob Felber, president of Felber PR & Marketing and principal for NEXT for Nonprofits, LLC, has been named the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce's Business Person of the Year.

Rob Felber, president of Felber PR & Marketing and principal for NEXT for Nonprofits, LLC, has been named the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce's Business Person of the Year.

Here is the full text of the announcement:

This year’s recipient brings more than 25 years of experience to bear for a diverse range of clients in the manufacturing industry; and is a well-known speaker on the subjects of public relations, advertising and other marketing communications disciplines. In addition, he continually uses his wide network of professional affiliations and contacts to the benefit of his clients and our community.

He has held numerous leadership positions within marketing associations and has served as an "ambassador" for The Promotional Products Association International. He has appeared as a guest speaker on college campuses including Kent State, John Carroll, Cleveland State and Akron Universities, and before a variety of business organizations.

This year’s recipient has also dedicated 11 years on the leadership team for The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Twinsburg/Nordonia and chaired the 2011 and 2012 events. In his "spare time" he serves as Public Information Officer for the Hillcrest Technical Rescue Team of which he has been a member and firefighter/paramedic since 1983.

He and his wife, Sheryl have been residents of Twinsburg for 17 years and are proud parents of 13-year old twins, Zoe & Elana.
