5 Things to Do This Weekend

C'mon Twinsburg – sitting at home on the couch is not one of them, but it could be

The weekend is only a few hours away and it's time to start figuring out those big plans.  If you can't think of anything to do, we have a few ideas to fight off boredom during this frigid Ohio weekend.

  1. Warm yourself court-side.  It's only a 10-minute drive to Hudson to watch the boys' varsity basketball team take on the Hudson Explorers at Hudson High School tonight at 7:30 p.m.  The Tigers are high off of a dominating over Lakewood on Tuesday night and look to keep it going.
  2. Make memories from scrap.  The is hosting from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.  So gather up your pictures and art supplies and make a cool scrapbook.
  3. Hit the slopes. You could go skiing or you could take the out behind the.  It's a great hill for sledding in the area. Parents, feel free to treat yourself to afterwards.
  4. Catch fire with the Lady Tigers.  The girls' varsity basketball team hosts the Youngstown-Ursuline Irish at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.  The Tigers haven't lost a game yet this season and have some impressive tournament wins, too.
  5. Build a fire and make some hot cocoa.  It's supposed to get pretty cold this weekend and nothing is nicer than hot chocolate and a moderate (and legal) fire. Enjoy.
