5 Things to Know for a Better Week

Here is a list of ways to end July with a bang

As usual, another month has flashed by us and August is upon our doorstep. But, worry not, because there are some great ways to make the most of these last few days in July.

What are they, you ask? We have listed 5 ways for you to have a stellar week before the dog days of August commence:

1. You should know that there are no government meetings this week. So, if you're one of the resident watchdogs, feel free to take a breather and rest up.

2. Can't get enough bike night? is at tomorrow night for the Tuesday Bike Night, starting at 6 p.m.

3. Love Chinese food but tired of paying for takeout? The is having a Chinese Cuisine cooking class, held on Wednesday, July 27 at 7 p.m.

4. The library is also having the party on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. This event is for the registered Challengers who will have completed their 25 books in 2011 by the end of July. Come in for this halfway celebration, there will be coffee, tea and tasty treats. Try your luck at the doorprizes, and enjoy the special surprise literary guest. Bring your own teacup for your hot tea.

5. From the editor: It may not be big news in Twinsburg, but I (editor Mitch Cooper) am getting married this Saturday! I figured it wasn't front page news, but thought you all might be interested to know. Thanks for seven great months, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for me, and Twinsburg Patch.
